One day a cowboy action shooter, by the name of Charles Skorzewski, (alias - Sam Cotten), was speaking to a few shooters and had mentioned there was a litchfield Sportsman's Club in the area. As always, shooters perked at the idea of having another location to shoot! Another cowboy shooter, Bill Ackerman, (alias - Ross Haney), advised that he would look into the idea. Ross Haney made the initial introduction to the Litchfield Sportsman's Club and a meeting was scheduled with their membership.

A meeting date was established and details were discussed. In approximately three weeks the "Litchfield Cowboys" was born.

We are very greatful to be a part of the Litchfield Sportsman's Club organization and thankful for their support.
